San Francisco, Calif. – The San Francisco Giants announced their 2024 Spring Training schedule today, beginning with play on Saturday, February 24 against the Chicago Cubs at Scottsdale Stadium.
San Francisco’s spring schedule features 15 games at Scottsdale Stadium, including seven weekend games (five of which land on a Saturday), and 15 Cactus League road games. San Francisco has three split-squad dates in which the club will field a pair of teams and play two games on Sunday, March 10 vs. Chicago-AL and at Seattle, Saturday, March 16 vs. Cleveland and at Chicago-AL, and Friday, March 22 vs. Chicago-NL and at Chicago-NL. San Francisco will also enjoy two off days: Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 14.
The Giants will play their division rivals, the Los Angeles Dodgers, twice, including a game at Scottsdale Stadium on Thursday, March 7 and a game at Camelback Ranch on Tuesday, March 12. San Francisco will play the Oakland Athletics three times in Arizona, visiting Hohokam Stadium twice on Wednesday, February 28 and then again on Friday, March 15, and at Scottsdale Stadium on Saturday, March 9.
On Saturday, March 23, the Giants will host Arizona for their final game in the desert before traveling back home to conclude their exhibition schedule with two games against the Oakland Athletics on Monday, March 25 at RingCentral Coliseum and Tuesday, March 26 at Oracle Park.
