As evidenced by the Jordan Poole – Chris Paul swap, the Warriors are going all in this season. That might mean two more young casualties from last year’s roster.

The qualifying offers for both Anthony Lamb and Ty Jerome are not expected to be picked up according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic. Lamb’s qualifying offer is worth $2.1 million while Jerome’s is worth $1.7 million.

This doesn’t mean necessarily that both won’t be coming back. Slater says that the Warriors aren’t shutting the door depending on how free agency goes. To put a finer point on it, if Golden State strikes out on more high profile bench options, both Jerome and Lamb could return on small deals.

Jerome and Lamb played most of last season on two-way contracts, though both played a significant role at times during the regular season. Lamb shot well from 3 and was a plus-player when on the floor, but has offensive limitations. Jerome’s limitations are on the defensive end, but he was at times a more stabilizing force as a second unit point guard than Jordan Poole was.

According to Slater, the Warriors top choices for reserve bigs are Dario Šarić, Kevin Love and Georges Niang. In the backcourt, Terence Davis, Seth Curry and Austin Rivers are listed as targets.
