Interesting.
After Draymond Green was given a Flagrant 2 and subsequently suspended for stomping on the chest of Domantas Sabonis, Joel Embiid was issued a Flagrant 1 foul for kicking out at the groin of Nic Claxton while laying on the ground during Thursday’s Sixers-Nets game.
As expected, the decision to not to eject Embiid had a massive effect on the game. The MVP candidate had the game deciding block late in the fourth quarter.
Was Embiid’s infraction worse than Draymond’s? Charles Barkley certainly thought so.
