It’s always something with Draymond Green.
In the fourth quarter of Game 2, Green was ejected for stomping on the chest of Domantas Sabonis, at the conclusion of a truly bizarre play.
Sabonis fell to the ground while fighting for a rebound, and rolled over toward a standing Draymond Green. As Green tried to run back up the court, Sabonis appeared to grab his leg, which then landed on Sabonis’ chest. At that point, Green appeared to put his full weight onto Sabonis’ chest, and launched himself off of it. Sabonis stayed on the ground writhing in pain.
When the dust cleared, Sabonis was called for a technical foul and Green was issued a Flagrant 2 and an automatic ejection. He expressed himself to the Kings fans before leaving the arena.
The postgame podcast should be good after this one.
