It appears Stephen Curry will miss at least the next four games.

That’s according to the Golden State Warriors, who sent out an update on Curry’s recovery from a left leg injury that has kept him out for the last five games. The two-time MVP will be re-evaluated one week from Wednesday. Here’s the press release in full:

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who has missed the last five (5) games after suffering partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane, as well as a contusion to his left lower leg on February 4 vs. Dallas, was recently re-evaluated. The re-evaluation indicated that Curry is making good progress. He has started various individual on-court workouts, which will continue in the coming days. He will be re-evaluated again in one (1) week.

In the next week, the Warriors face the Lakers in Los Angeles then the Rockets, Timberwolves and Trail Blazers at home. If Curry is indeed ready to go after his re-evaluation, he would return vs. the Clippers on March 2 at Chase Center at the earliest.

The Warriors have gone 2-3 in the five games Curry has missed and currently sit in the ninth spot in the Western Conference at 29-29. With 24 games remaining, the Warriors have to get to at least the sixth seed in order to avoid the play-in tournament. That spot is currently occupied by the Dallas Mavericks who are a game up on the Warriors.
