Micah Parsons said during the week that he wanted to play the 49ers. Cowboys fans said the same. On Sunday they got their wish.
Unfortunately, it didn’t go as they imagined it, with San Francisco beating Dallas 19-12 and punching their ticket to the NFC title game. Especially in the playoffs, even the smallest comment becomes bulletin board material, and so it’s no surprise that the 49ers were ready to troll Dallas and Parsons about the comments postgame.
First it was Arik Armstead. “They said they wanted who?” He wrote on Twitter. Then Deebo Samuel followed up on Instagram with a picture of Parsons’ quote and the caption “Don’t Poke The Bear.”
Parsons chimed in, in response, implying Deebo didn’t do enough on Sunday to talk.
“Lol what did you do today fam lol?!” He wrote. “But congrats on the win! But don’t put me in this weak ass slide”
Sorry, Micah. When you lose, you’ve got to take it.
