Not good.
We are starting to get clarity about the shoulder injury Stephen Curry suffered in Wednesday’s loss to the Pacers.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that the two-time MVP is expected to miss “a few weeks.”
Curry sustained the injury when he reached in and stripping the ball from Jalen Smith on a drive to the hoop. Curry reportedly had his shoulder wrapped in the locker room but was in good spirits.
Curry underwent an MRI in Philadelphia on Thursday. The Warriors are in the middle of a six-game East Coast swing, with a prime time clash with the 76ers scheduled for Friday night.
“This has been a tough stretch and if [Curry is] out it will for sure get tougher,” Kerr said after Wednesday’s loss. “But we’ve got to persevere. You just keep playing and keep fighting. It’s a long season. The thing I am confident about is that if we’re healthy, we feel like we can beat anybody.”
Currently the Warriors sit 10th in the West, with a 14-15 record.
