Watch: Jordan Clarkson ejected after late scuffle with Jonathan Kuminga

Before the Warriors let the game slip away, things got testy in Salt Lake City.

The Warriors led 121-119 and Jordan Clarkson, the Jazz’s leading scorer in the game, tried to tie the game by taking on forward Jonathan Kuminga. But the young forward stood Kuminga up and rose with him to block his attempt at the apex.

After Jonathan Kuminga got what should have been a game-clinching stop, Jordan Clarkson wrapped him up around the neck area to foul him out of frustration. Kuminga instinctually shoved Clarkson off him, then backed away.

But Clarkson took exception to Kuminga’s push. He squared up his balled fists as if to fight as Donte DiVincenzo escorted Kuminga away from the commotion.

Clarkson earned a flagrant-2 for his behavior, which comes with an automatic ejection. He tossed his headband to a fan as he made his way to the Jazz locker room, bringing a team-high 22 points with him.

But even without Clarkson, the Jazz stole the game. They scored five points in the last 13.3 seconds, forcing a crucial turnover on Jordan Poole that led to the game-winning dunk on the other end.

Apparently Utah didn’t need Clarkson to stun Golden State.
