Ahead of a key divisional matchup with the Rams, the 49ers made a host of roster moves and made some key players inactive.

The team’s roster moves are as follows:

  • WR Willie Snead IV has been promoted to the active roster from the team’s practice squad
  • In order to make room on the roster, the team has placed LB Azeez Al-Shaair on the Injured Reserve List.
  • Additionally, the following players have been activated from the team’s practice squad (standard elevations):

Pos.          Number               Name

RB            28                         Tevin Coleman

WR           17                         Malik Turner

The move to activate Coleman suggests he’ll be involved in the running game on Monday. Kyle Shanahan said he would likely have been activated last week if not for the altitude in Denver.

San Francisco got mixed news on the defensive line.

While Arik Armstead (plantar fasciitis) is active, Javon Kinlaw is not. Below are the team’s inactives:

  • RB Ty Davis-Price (ankle)
  • TE Tyler Kroft (knee)
  • DB Tarvarius Moore (hamstring)
  • T Trent Williams (ankle)
  • WR Danny Gray (hip)
  • DT Javon Kinlaw (knee)
  • OL Nick Zakelj

The Rams are more banged up in their secondary, with three corners inactive:

  • WR Tutu Atwell
  • CB Cobie Durant
  • QB Bryce Perkins
  • CB David Long Jr.
  • CB Shaun Jolly
  • C Brian Allen
  • G David Edwards

A 49ers win on Monday night would tie them for the top spot in the NFC West. A loss would keep them at the bottom.
