Charles Barkley had to dodge T-shirts and cups from Warriors fans at Thrive City. He also has to dodge a shot from one of the greatest of all time.
Jerry Rice trolled Chuck over his lack of championship rings before Thursday’s Game 5 of the West Finals, coming to Golden State’s defense after Barkley’s criticism of the Warriors and the City of San Francisco.
Rice’s troll was also quite the flex on Instagram, where he posted a pic of his four Super Bowl rings.
“Do you have any championship rings #charlesbarkley @nbaontnt ? Stop hating on the Warriors!!” Rice wrote.
Barkley had been ripping the city of San Francisco all series long, referring to it as a dirty city and saying, “I hate San Francisco.” Warriors fans let him hear it earlier in the series.
He acted particularly upset after the Mavericks won Game 4 and he had to return to the city, calling it a “dirty ass city.”
Barkley has also picked against the Warriors consistently for years, and picked them to lose this series vs. the Mavs.
