By the time next season rolls around, the San Francisco 49ers will be Trey Lance’s team. And despite Lance’s limited in-game experience, that hasn’t stopped oddsmakers from viewing the 49ers as viable Super Bowl contenders.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the 49ers are essentially in the third tier, behind the favorites in the Chiefs and Bills, and the second tier in the Rams and Cowboys.
San Francisco is viewed as one of the six-most likely Super Bowl contenders, on an equal footing with the Green Bay Packers.
Those odds suggest Vegas believes the 49ers, with a roster that got them to the NFC Championship this season, have a legitimate chance at making a Super Bowl run next year.
