The 49ers really ran the table on the NFL Pro Bowl voting. The league won’t announce the 2022 Pro Bowl team until Wednesday, but as it stands, San Francisco had a dominant showing at the online voting booth.

Two players — Nick Bosa and Kyle Juszczyk — finished in the top five, with Bosa picking up 264,687 votes for the second-most in the league, and Juszczyk coming in with 244,714 votes, the fourth-most in the league.

After Trent Williams found himself a victim of the NFL’s voting system — which lists candidates by metrics for most positions, but goes alphabetically for offensive linemen — and was at one point eighth in the voting, he came back to top the tackle position with 131,096 votes.

And then there’s George Kittle, who was second in tight end voting, understandably, to Travis Kelce. Kittle, of course, missed a few games this season with a strained Achilles, but has been on a massive tear the last three weeks.

Kittle led all NFC tight ends, getting 208,193 votes. With the group of four the 49ers had leading the way, the team finished third overall in total Pro Bowl voting.

The NFL determines Pro Bowl selections by the consensus of fan, player and coach voting, with each group counting one-third towards determining who gets voted in as one of 88 players. This year’s Pro Bowl will stay in the continental U.S., with the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium hosting the event.
