Aaron Donald may have made a slight miscalculation last year when he pretended not to know who Deebo Samuel was following the Rams’ first loss of the season to the 49ers, and their third straight over two years.
The Rams have now lost five-straight games to the 49ers over the past three seasons and Samuel went off for a combined 133 yards and two touchdowns on 10 touches (split evenly with five carries and five receptions) on Monday night, including the fourth-quarter dagger.
Here’s the clip of Donald, featuring a KNBR special edit.
After Monday night’s game, Samuel took to Instagram to poke fun at Donald, throwing the “Who’s that?” line back at him.

You have to imagine that Donald knows who Deebo Samuel — who has 997 receiving yards, behind only the Rams’ Cooper Kupp (1,141 yards), and with one less game played and 30 fewer targets — is at this point.
