As the 49ers have wallowed in their self-dug pit of of despair for most of the last six weeks, the Los Angeles Rams have cemented themselves as Super Bowl contenders. They doubled down on their first half success, acquiring edge rusher Von Miller from the Denver Broncos in a trade, and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. after he cleared waivers this week.

But after Miller sat last week with an ankle injury and Beckham Jr. came in on short notice, the question coming into Monday night was whether both would play. That’s been answered, as both will be active against the 49ers.

San Francisco will also have Jimmie Ward back at safety after he missed a week with a quad injury, and will have a very brief inactive list, which is as follows:

  • CB Dre Kirkpatrick
  • RB JaMycal Hasty
  • OL Colton McKivitz
  • DL Maurice Hurst

The Rams will be without their stellar No. 2 receiver, Robert Woods, who suffered a season-ending ACL tear this week. In his stead, second-year receiver Van Jefferson and rookie Ben Skowronek are expected to see an increase in their snaps.

Below are the Rams inactives:

  • WR Robert Woods
  • QB Bryce Perkins
  • CB Dont’e Deayon
  • OLB Chris Garrett
  • OL Alaric Jackson
  • OL Tremayne Anchrum Jr.
  • TE Brycen Hopkins
