Kelly Oubre’s first two games vs. the Warriors this season have been forgettable.
His return to Chase Center was a bit of a disaster. Oubre didn’t score a single point in 13 minutes, going 0-for-4 while committing two turnovers.
Sunday’s game vs. the Warriors in Charlotte started off better for Oubre. Through three-plus quarters he provided energy and 10 points off the bench. Unfortunately, it ended in bizarre fashion, with Oubre being ejected after arguing a foul call early in the fourth quarter.
Oubre got the first T after making a pushing gesture toward the official, seemingly to indicate that he thought he was pushed on the previous play, then got a quick second T for his reaction to the first.
The second one especially seemed very soft, and could have something to do with Oubre’s reputation as a bit of a hot head.
