The Los Angeles Dodgers, claimed to be the greatest team of all time by some, now trail the Atlanta Braves 2-0 in the National League Championship Series after being walked-off for the second night in a row.
Sunday’s walk-off came via the bat of Eddie Rosario, who hit a screamer that Dodgers infielder Corey Seager could not handle. The ball ricochet off his glove and into the outfield as Dansby Swanson scored easily from second.
The Dodgers blew a 4-2 lead in the eighth, when Ozzie Albies and Austin Riley tied the game with back-to-back RBIs.
Los Angeles also suffered heartbreak on Saturday, when Riley hit an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning to score Albies and win the game. The Dodgers looked to be in a position to take the lead themselves in the ninth, but a Chris Taylor baserunning gaffe spoiled their chances.
The series will now head to Los Angeles for the next three games.
