It’s cutdown day, folks. By 1 p.m., the 49ers will have to get down to their 53-man roster.

The day started with a trade, as the 49ers traded away former undrafted linebacker Jonas Griffith and seventh-round pick in 2022 to the Denver Broncos for the Broncos’ 2022 sixth-round pick and 2023 seventh-round pick, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Veteran offensive lineman Senio Kelemente will be cut, too, according to Pelissero, as expected.

Center Jake Brendel, who became the team’s second-string center due to Daniel Brunskill being the starting right guard, will also be cut, but likely added to practice squad.

According to David Lombardi of The Athletic, fullback Josh Hokit was waived and is expected to go to the practice squad.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix will be cut.

The team released veteran tight end MyCole Pruitt, per Pelissero. That will have some ramifications, as a Pruitt had $500,000 guaranteed in his base salary. Either the 49ers keep four tight ends with Jordan Matthews as their fourth, or more likely, go with just three.

According to Matt Barrows, the team will waive return specialist and receiver Nsimba Webster.

According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, Travis Benjamin will be released, too.

Cornerback Alexander Myres will be waived as well, per Barrows.

Jordan Matthews has been released, per Lombardi. It’s the likelier scenario of three tight ends.

According to Barrows, running back JaMycal Hasty has made the team.

Jalen Hurd has made the team, per Matt Maiocco.

Justin Hilliard was cut, per Barrows.
