We know Kevin Durant is a sensitive guy, but this is something else.
Comedian and actor Michael Rapaport shared a series of direct messages between he and the Brooklyn Nets star, in which Durant insulted Rapaport using fairly extreme and at times homophobic language. Durant at one point threatens to fight Rapaport, and says he’ll spit in his face if he sees him in public.
The incident stems from a Rapaport tweet, criticizing Durant for his demeanor during an interview with “Inside the NBA” at the beginning of the season. The conversation between the one-time friends continued until recently, when Rapaport apparently contacted his lawyer regarding Durant’s threats.
You can read all of the correspondences below, all of which are extremely NSFW:
I receive threats and disgusting messages DAILY, but never in my wildest dreams did I think @KDTrey5 would be among them. The ? himself is now threatening me, bringing up my wife and wants to fight. This is supposed to be America’s sweetheart right? #ImDaRealMVP pic.twitter.com/l1VQfGMMRF
