The NBA trade deadline has officially passed, as of noon PDT. Despite some debate over what the Warriors would do with Kelly Oubre, who is on an expiring contract, the team stood pat, holding onto Oubre for the rest of the season.
That didn’t mean there was silence on the trade front, though. In typically NBA fashion, the Warriors got two deals done, technically after the trade deadline had passed (rules allow for this as long as the trade calls are in progress before the window closes).
The first move was to ship struggling veteran guard Brad Wanamaker off to Charlotte, who may be without star rookie LaMelo Ball for the remainder of the season.

And the second move was to send backup center Marquese Chriss, who is expected to be out for the season with a broken right fibula, to the San Antonio Spurs, according to Anthony Slater. Neither deal will include players coming back to the Warriors or draft picks, per Slater, just cash and the bonus of two free roster spots.
No currently rostered players are coming back to the Warriors in the Wanamaker to Charlotte or Chriss to San Antonio deals, I'm told. No picks being exchanged either. Just cash, clearing two roster spots for the Warriors as buyout season approaches.

But the Warriors will receive the draft rights to Cady Lalanne, per Slater and Yahoo’s Chris Haynes. An acquisition that amounts, effectively, to nothing. The 28-year-old Lalanne’s last available season was in Spain, where he averaged 10.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
