Could Richard Sherman really head back to Seattle? The future Hall of Fame corner is arguably the biggest name left on the free agent market and as of this moment, there is no clear destination for the 33-year-old, who has dealt with Achilles and calf injuries over the past four years.

Now, there could be some complicating factors in a potential return. Sherman told ESPN back in 2018 that, “I don’t really have a relationship with” Russell Wilson. But a year later, the two exchanged jerseys, so who’s to say where those two stand. Sherman never said he had an issue with the Seahawks organization, but just expressed disappointment that they declined to match the 49ers’ offer back in 2018.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, a return is not far-fetched, rating it a 5/10 on a “Watt?” scale.

“Richard Sherman is open to returning to Seattle,” Pelissero said. “I believe the Seahawks would also be open to having Sherman back.”
