Stephen Curry wins wild 3-point shootout on final shot

The 3-point shootout is often the most entertaining part of All-Star Weekend, but this year’s competition took it to a whole new level.

It’s not a surprise that Stephen Curry won the contest for the second time, but how he did it was peak entertainment. After setting the pace by dropping 31 in the first round (nobody else eclipsed 30), Curry took his time in the final round, clinching the 28 points he needed to beat Mike Conley on the final shot, a moneyball worth two points. Curry went 2-for-2 on the new extra deep shots worth three points apiece in the final round.

Curry also won the tournament in 2014-15 a year before losing out to Klay Thompson in 2015-16. Curry dedicated this year’s victory to his fellow splash brother.
