The 49ers finished with the 21st best record in the NFL this season, but oddsmakers believe that’s not a true reflection of how good they really are, or will be, in 2021.
San Francisco has the seventh-best odds to win the Super Bowl next year at 14-to-1 (bet $100 to win $1,400) according to Cesars Sportsbook. The 49ers have better odds than their division-rival Seahawks (18-to-1), but are behind the Rams (13-to-1) who just swapped Matthew Stafford for Jared Goff. The Rams were in the Super Bowl two years ago, losing to Tom Brady and the Patriots 13-3.
Brady of course won again on Sunday, this time with the Buccaneers, who find themselves with the third best odds (11-to-1) to repeat next season, behind the Super Bowl winning Chiefs (11-to-2) and Packers (9-to-1).
