We knew it was going to be good, but even in our wildest dreams we didn’t think it would be THIS good.
Klay Thompson stole the show when he joined Bob Fitzgerald and Kelenna Azubuike in the television booth during the third quarter of Saturday’s game. Yet perhaps the most entertaining moment came when Thompson hopped back into the booth for a postgame interview with Stephen Curry.
Before Curry joined, Pistons wing Rodney McGruder approached the Warriors bench, apparently taking issue with something said by Juan Toscano-Anderson. When Thompson was asked what was going on from his vantage point by Azubuike, Thompson didn’t hold back.
“I don’t know, this dude might be out of the league soon, he might be mad about that,” Thompson said as Kelenna and Fitz reacted with nervous laughter. “Over here trying to start something like he’s a good player or something. Like bro get outta here.”
There are many Klays, but Spicy Klay might be the best.
