The NBC Bulls Twitter account was having a lot of fun with on Sunday night, mostly at the Warriors’ expense.
The account, which serves as the official Twitter of the Bulls regional TV provider, dubbed Bulls Talk, fired off multiple tweets making fun of the Warriors, primarily targeting struggling wings Kelly Oubre and Andrew Wiggins.
It began when the account shared this graphic from the TV station, which cleverly had the title “Replacing Klay with Bricks” in reference to Wiggins and Oubre’s awful start shooting the ball.
Damn the headline for this graphic ? pic.twitter.com/1lnSuB4yWV

As Oubre’s struggles continued (he went 3-for-16 and 0-for-6 from deep) Bull Talk tweeted this picture of a shattered backboard.

After Damion Lee’s game winner, the NBC Warriors account decided it was a good time to “clap back” at Bulls Talk, hitting them with a quote tweet saying “And the Bulls still took the L” with a grimacing face. Unfortunately, that set up Bulls Talk for a haymaker, responding “You’re right. Good win, Warriors Talk. Enjoy the next three years of Wiggins”

Social media brand managers trading barbs on Twitter is generally pretty stupid, but we can at least respect that Bulls Talk is willing to troll opposing teams with reckless abandon. When you’re job is to cover the Bulls, you have to try and keep the audience engaged anyway you can.
