Jeremy Lin didn’t get much of a shot in Golden State during his first go around. Now, they’re giving him a shot to continue his NBA career.
Lin, who got his NBA start as an undrafted signing with the Warriors in 2010, is returning to the team on an Exhibit 10 contract, according to multiple reports. An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year deal worth the league minimum that guarantees a training camp invite.

Lin, 32, has had a solid NBA career, the most notable moments of which came during an insane stretch with the Knicks in 2012 where he led them on a seven-game winning streak seemingly out of nowhere, catapulting them to the playoffs. Lin then averaged at least 10 points per game in each of the next six seasons with four different teams, culminating in a career high 14.5 points per game with Brooklyn in 2016-17 before rupturing the patellar tendon in his right knee.
Lin split time with the Hawks and Raptors in 2018-19, winning the NBA title with Toronto over Golden State that season. He spent last season in China playing for the Beijing Ducks, and had a standout campaign averaging 22.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.6 assists.
Lin, who went to Harvard, grew up in the Palo Alto. He played in 29 games for the Warriors in 2010-11, but averaged just over nine minutes per appearance.
