James Wiseman wasn’t able to practice during the first week of training camp due to a positive COVID test. He was finally back on the court on Monday, and certainly looked impressive based on video released by the team, and some quotes from Steve Kerr and Draymond Green.
The clip above shows Wiseman’s multi-faceted ability. On the first play, he begins the fastbreak after gathering a loose ball, and shows an impressive handle in transition, before making a pass that extends the break, and eventually leads to a Stephen Curry bucket.
On another play, Wiseman gathers and offensive rebound and shows a soft touch knocking down a quick jumper. He also showcased his most bankable skill coming out of college, slamming home a Draymond Green lob in transition.

Both Steve Kerr and Green praised Wiseman’s performance during his first practice. Wiseman will not see the court during the Warriors’ preseason game on Tuesday, but is expected to suit up on Thursday.

Draymond said James Wiseman was out of position a few times during his first practice because he was trying to do too much defensively:
