He’s inescapable. Just when you thought Jim Harbaugh was out of your life, there he goes, clawing his way back in. After six years of underwhelming at the University of Michigan, it seems Harbaugh’s time there may be running out.

According to ProFootballTalk, Harbaugh is looking for another shot in the NFL and may be gearing up to leave Michigan, who are currently 2-4, at the end of the season.

And that, apparently, is growing in likelihood as FanDuel’s Sportsbook posted shockingly high odds for Harbaugh to become the next Lions head coach. At the time of posting this story, Harbaugh and the 49ers’ Robert Saleh were the odds-on favorites for the job according to the sportsbook, with both at +200 (or 2-to-1).

Saleh is a Michigan native, and Harbaugh has obviously spent a massive amount of time there, living there at points during his childhood, as a quarterback at Michigan in college, and coaching the team for a half-dozen years.

No one else, besides the Kansas City Chiefs’ Eric Bienemy at +700, is particularly close in the running, according to the book.
