Sometimes reality is truly stranger than fiction.
Two days before he was discovered to be the first NBA player known to have contracted the coronavirus, Jazz center Rudy Gobert jokingly touched every microphone and phone in front of him during a press conference.
Gobert was taken to the hospital on Wednesday after the Jazz-Thunder game was suspended right before tip off, and tested positive 30 minutes later. Almost immediately after the news broke, the NBA suspended the season until further notice.
