MIAMI — In the 49ers’ final practice before the Super Bowl, all concerns about injuries were minimal. As head coach Kyle Shanahan indicated on Thursday, when he said Jaquiski Tartt (limited, ribs), Kwon Alexander (limited, pectoral) and Tevin Coleman (limited, shoulder) were, “going to be good to go,” nothing has changed.
The 49ers returned to padded practice on Friday, and all three of Tartt, Alexander and Coleman participated in full.
“Everyone is good, that was the goal,” Shanahan said, according to the pool report. Coleman was the only real concern of the three, with Shanahan saying, ” “He’s good to go. He’s confident.”
There didn’t appear to be any nervousness from players in practice. According to the pool report, there was a minor jersey-switch prank pulled on coaches by the players. Nick Bosa switched with safety Jimmie Ward, Coleman with Kyle Juszczyk, and tight end George Kittle with Levine Toilolo. The receiver group also remained usually excited.
