Perhaps the most memorable ejection of Steve Kerr’s coaching career took place on February 4, 2017 in Sacramento, when the Warriors’ head coach snapped in the third quarter, and had to be held back by assistant coach Mike Brown while he hurled expletives, including multiple f-bombs, at an official. On Monday Kerr gave his version of an encore, although the sequel rarely lives up to the original. Kerr was tossed in Sacramento again, and was issued double technicals after popping off on young official Jason Goldenberg, who made a number of questionable calls in the first half.
While it’s not the best we’ve ever seen, it’s one of the easiest to lip read, with the tipping point appearing to be Kerr yelling at Goldenberg to “wake your ass up,” multiple times.
