The 2019 49ers season has been special, and not just because they went 13-3.
San Francisco played in a number of instant classics this year. In fact, of the five games that NFL Network dubbed their “Games of the Year,” four featured the 49ers.

The contests in question were: 49ers at Ravens (17-20), Seahawks at 49ers (27-24), 49ers at Seahawks (26-21) and 49ers at Saints (48-46).
All four games were decided in the final seconds, with the contests vs. the Ravens, Saints and first matchup vs. the Seahawks, decided by game-winning field goals. The recent win over Seattle at CenturyLink was now famously decided by an incredible goal-line tackle by Dre Greenlaw at the one-inch line.
Despite the close nature of those games, the 49ers were dominant in most of their other matchups, finishing the season with the third best point differential in the NFL (+169).
