The Golden State Warriors announced today that they have added KNBR host Tom Tolbert to their local radio broadcast team.
Tolbert will act as the color commentator for all home regular season games as well as all playoff games for the team starting with the 2019-2020 season over on 95.7 The Game and the Warriors Radio Network.
Previously Tolbert served as the Warriors color commentator alongside Tim Roye from December 2012 to the end of the 2016 NBA season.
After playing basketball at the University of Arizona alongside Steve Kerr, Tolbert was drafted by the Orlando Magic in 1988. He then played on the Warriors from 1989-1992.
Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to hear Tom with Rod Brooks and Larry Krueger Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. on KNBR 104.5 FM and 680 AM.
