Draymond Green tries, fails to bluff a professional poker player

Tough scene.

Earlier this week Draymond Green went on the show “Poker after Dark” and tried his hand against some of the world’s best poker players. He sat between Phil Hellmuth, a legend in the poker community and a huge Warriors fan, and Maria Ho, a top-100 ranked poker player in the world.

At one point during the night Green was dealt the eight and the five of clubs. Apparently looking for a flush, he put money into the pot. Maria Ho must have smelled blood in the water and called Green with only a pair of twos.

Once the flop came and Green had a hand of absolutely nothing, he put all $5,000 worth of his chips in the middle.

“When’s the last time you played poker?” Ho asked Green.

“Last week?” Green answered.

“Not the answer I wanted,” Ho said before calling Green’s bluff.

Draymond Green is one of the best basketball players walking this earth, but apparently his poker game still needs a little bit of work.
