Some folks on the internet have an odd obsession with and apparent disdain for Ayesha Curry. It seems to have started, or popularized, when Ayesha and Sonya Curry went on Red Table Talk, a Facebook show with Jada Pinkett-Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris. In that episode, Ayesha Curry talked about how she felt about women who were into her husband, Stephen Curry, and her uncomfortability with that.
“Something that really bothers me, and honestly has given me a sense of a little bit of an insecurity, is the fact that yeah, there are all these women, like, throwing themselves [at him], but me, like, the past 10 years, I don’t have any of that,” Ayesha Curry said on the show. “I have zero — this sounds weird — but, like, male attention, and so then I begin to internalize it, and I’m like, ‘Is something wrong with me?’”
Ayesha Curry was at her new restaurant, International Smoke, which opens this Friday in Del Mar, north of San Diego, and started Milly Rocking. The video surfaced and some folks on the internet were less than enthused.

Stephen Curry saw this and responded to the criticism with his own Milly Rock and some shade at critics, pointing to the fact that his wife has now four restaurant locations (San Francisco, Houston, Aventura and now Del Mar).
“Slow news day today, I see, huh?” Curry said. “Just make sure you guys send me the video of you dancing at your own restaurant opening. We’re gonna keep Milly Rockin till that happens. You know what I’m saying?”
