OAKLAND — Thursday night was a brutal final game at Oracle Arena. The Warriors lost the NBA Finals in heartbreaking fashion, falling to the Toronto Raptors 114-110. They also lost Klay Thompson to a torn ACL according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Now it appears that even if Golden State re-signs both Thompson and Kevin Durant this offseason, they will be without both for a chunk of next year.
After the news broke of Thompson’s injury, a number of NBA stars reached out to give condolences, and praise Thompson’s toughness.
