This week in Tolbert’s Beer Review Tom is staying local and reviewing Alvarado Street’s Blue ‘N Gold pilsner.
Alvarado Street is one of our favorite breweries, located down in Monterey. Usually we review IPAs from Alvarado Street, but for this episode tom tries one of their pilsners, perfect for the beach or a backyard barbecue.
From the brewer: A California-style Pilsner with Northern California-grown barley malted by Admiral Maltings in Alameda. Loral is the showcase hop in this beer with floral, stone fruit & cherry notes. Crush city!
