OAKLAND – Stephen Curry was involved in a three-car accident on Highway 24 Friday morning in Oakland, where he was reported to be uninjured. Warriors coach Steve Kerr commented on the health of Curry before Friday’s game vs. the Trail Blazers.
“He was fine, he was a little shaken up as anyone would be getting into a car accident,” Kerr said. “Thankfully nobody was hurt, Steph is doing fine.”
Of course Kerr brought his signature sense of humor and levity to the situation:
“I think he has another car he can drive too so I think he’s going to be ok.”
Curry himself tweeted about the incident hours later thanking God. He then thanked the outpouring of support he received from friends and fans alike after the incident had been reported.
Don’t need any reminders but All the Time God is Great and God is Great all the time! Appreciate all the texts.

Despite being uninjured from the car accident, Curry is still slated to sit out today and tomorrow according to Kerr as he recovers from a groin injury. The Warriors are 2-5 in Curry’s absence.
