OAKLAND – Before shootaround Friday morning, Stephen Curry was involved in a three car crash Westbound Highway 24 in Oakland. The accident happened on the Oakland side of the Caldecott tunnel just before 9 a.m. The front bumper of Curry’s Porsche was damaged, but Curry escaped uninjured.
Curry tweeted about the incident hours later thanking God. He then thanked the outpouring of support he received from friends and fans alike after the incident had been reported.

Curry even stopped to pose with the California Highway Patrolmen who helped him after the incident.

The accident was first reported by ABC7 Bay Area who reported Curry’s car was hit twice on the rainy morning. The first car lost control and spun into his before he was rear-ended by a second car. Everyone involved in the accident was uninjured, and according to Kerith Burke, Curry later arrived at the Warriors’ shootaround.
