It’s been a rough afternoon in Santa Clara for more reasons than one.
The 49ers currently trail the Rams 32-7 in the third quarter of Sunday’s game, due in large part to four turnovers. San Francisco has also been bitten by the injury bug again, losing running back Matt Brieda on the first play of the game, and safety Adrian Colbert on a nasty fall in the third quarter.
Colbert’s right leg buckled under him as he attempted to break up a deep pass intended for Brandon Cooks. Colbert stayed on the ground for an extended period of time before being carted off the field. On a positive note, the 25-year-old was seen back on the 49ers sideline shortly after being taken to the locker room.
Adrian Colbert is back on the sideline, in uniform. He was smiling as he hugged Marquise Goodwin, which is always a good sign
