One might think–as this writer does–that it’d be intimidating to join a team and a spotlight like the Golden State Warriors . It appears that one DeMarcus Cousins does not agree with that sentiment.
The All-Pro center won’t play meaningful minutes until the Warriors are deep into their quest for a three-peat, but he’s been around and active in the team’s activities leading up to the start of the 2018-19 season.
Sunday afternoon the Warriors held an open practice at Oracle Arena, and Boogie found a couple fans who have a fairly strong resemblance to Steph Curry. The pair are obviously leaning into the bit as they both wore Curry jerseys to the arena. Cousins found the pair funny enough that he decided to bring them on to the court.
From what we can tell most of the team was a fan of the two. Coach Kerr guided the two over to Steph, who doubled over in laughter when he saw what was happening. Durant later joined a photo with Boogie and the three Stephs.
No reports out of practice yet as to whether or not the two can ball.

The Warriors play their third pre-season game of the year Monday night when they host the Suns at 7:30 p.m.. They’ll play a home and away with the Lakers over the next week to finish the pre-season, and begin the games that count at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 16.
