The 49ers have signed a quarterback, running back and interior lineman this offseason. Now you can add pass rusher to that list.
San Francisco has agreed to a one-year deal with former San Diego Chargers defensive end Jeremiah Attaochu, according to his agency, and confirmed by ESPN’s Nick Wagoner.

The deal is worth up to $5.125 million with $2.5 million guaranteed, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Attaochu, 25, was a second-round pick by the Chargers in the 2014 draft. He started 12 games for San Diego in 2015 and had six sacks, but has played sparingly otherwise, playing in just 12 games with one start over the past two seasons. A native of Nigeria, Attaochu was a standout at Georgia Tech, and was named a third-team All-American his senior year after finishing the season with 12.5 sacks.
Attaochu is big (6-foot-3, 252 pounds) and athletic, running a 4.58 40-yard-dash at the NFL Combine.
The 49ers are currently without a bonafide pass rusher on their roster, and their sack leader last year, Elvis Dumervil (6.5 sacks), is currently a free agent. The 49ers finished tied for 26th in the NFL with 30 sacks as a team last year. Edge rusher is likely a position the 49ers will target in the upcoming NFL Draft.
