OAKLAND – Not good if you’re a Warriors fan.
Stephen Curry has been plagued in recent years with ankle injuries, and it appears he has another. Six days ago in Atlanta Curry rolled his ankle after landing on Zaza Pachulia’s foot. He played minimal minutes the rest of the game, but didn’t miss a game after that.
Not three minutes into Thursday night’s game against the visiting San Antonio Spurs, Curry went up for a layup and came down on LaMarcus Aldridge’s foot, appearing to roll his ankle.
Stephen Curry tweaked his right ankle. He is being re-taped and will perform functionality tests. His return is TBD.

After the injury, Curry was taken to the locker room for further evaluation.
For a Warriors team that is coming off three straight trips to the NBA Finals, this is your worst nightmare. Worse than losing the race for the top seed in the Western Conference to a red-hot Houston Rocket team. In fact Draymond Green said Thursday morning that the team won’t kill themselves to win the one seed.
