In December, JaVale McGee posted a picture on his Instagram of he and teammate Nick Young in the studio, with the caption “Album on the Way.”
The first track of that album appears to have been released on Thursday morning, with McGee posting a link on his Twitter account to “The Birthday Song,” a song reportedly produced by McGee, and performed by hip-hop artist Pierre. It’s unclear what role, if any, Young played in the production of this particular track, which comes out just a few weeks after McGee’s 30th birthday.

Speaking of which, Young had quite the time at McGee’s b-day party, where he was hypnotized and slow danced with what appears to be a puppet.
