After spraining his right ankle during shootaround — the same one he injured against the New Orleans Pelicans last month — Stephen Curry will sit out against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night. Klay Thompson is also out, resting after playing in every game this season. Fortunately, Kevin Durant is expected to return after missing the last three games due to a right calf strain, and Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala are both available.
Injury update for tonight's game: Stephen Curry (sprained right ankle) & Klay Thompson (rest) are out. Kevin Durant (right calf strain), Draymond Green (right knee soreness) & Andre Iguodala (left knee & hip soreness) are available to play.

Curry has played in five games since returning from the ankle injury he suffered against the Pelicans on December 4. Reportedly, Curry slipped during Wednesday morning’s practice and was sent to the trainer’s room to be treated. This will be the 14th game the reigning Western Conference Player of the Week has missed this season.
From my vantage point, Stephen Curry slipped on a wet spot during a shooting workout with Bruce Fraser. The two chatted briefly as players looked on from afar and Curry promptly ended his workout and headed for the training room.
