The NBA handed down suspensions for an incident in Sunday’s Warriors-Heat game, where Shaun Livingston and NBA official Courtney Kirkland butted heads while Livingston argued a no-call, leading to Livingston’s ejection. Livingston will be suspended for one game — Monday’s game in New Orleans where he was scheduled to rest anyway — while Kirkland will be suspended a week without pay.

The ejection was the first of the season for Livingston, who stood face-to-face with official Courtney Kirkland under the Warriors’ basket before Kirkland ejected him. Forward David West tried to intervene during their interaction, but Kirkland gave Livingston the hook.

Livingston played just six minutes on Sunday evening, and was 0-for-2 from the field at the time of his ejection. The Warriors’ veteran finished the night with two assists and one block.
