Early into the first quarter of Saturday’s 135-114 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, Curry was seen limbing on the court after colliding with point guard Ben Simmons, who set up a screen for shooting guard J.J. Reddick.
Although Curry was taken out shortly after his collision, he returned and finished the game with 22 points, three three-pointers, nine assists, and four rebounds in 29:54 minutes.
“KD passed off that contusion to me,” Curry said after the game. “So, just same exact kind of situation. Trying to come off a screen and got kneed in the thigh, but I was able to keep playing. I’m sure it’ll hurt tomorrow, but I’ll be alright.”
