Linebacker Rueben Foster will be inactive for the second time in three games. Foster is battling ankles and rib injuries. Foster was listed as questionable all week with his injuries. It means the team will likely go with special team’s player Brock Coyle as his replacement.
Most of the rest inactives are injured players with starters down against the Eagles on a rainy day in Philadelphia. Right tackle Trent Brown will miss the game with a concussion, Garry Gilliam, the former Seahawk will replace him. Right guard Brandon Fusco is active but has a biceps injury.
The 49ers will also be without nickel back K’Waun Williams, who will miss the game with a quadriceps injury; Jimmie Ward will likely take his spot as the nickel back.
Pass rusher Aaron Lynch (calf) will miss his second straight start.
