Draymond Green surprises British Warriors fan in U.K.

It’s been a summer of world travel for a number of Warriors players after taking home the 2017 Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy a few months ago. Klay Thompson kicked things off with his shenanigans in China while he toured his new Anta shoe and later, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant followed suit.

However, no one had really put any time in across the pond with the Dubs’ British fanbase (because apparently there is one). That is, until Draymond Green found out one of his biggest fans in the world is a smooth-speaking 14-year-old kid named Patrick Morrison.

“He’s my favorite player by far,” Morrison said. “He’s aggressive and I like that in a basketball player. He’s fast, he’s fast-moving. He’s also powerful, he can dunk he can block he can steal, he’s an all-arounder.”

Morrison prides himself on his knowledge of the game. When he’s not watching the game on a live stream, he’s recording it on BT [Sport]. It’s his understanding of the defensive aspect to basketball that clearly creates the connection he feels with his favorite player.

“You can’t be a dominant force and just be good at offense, you have to be good at defense at the same time. And I think Draymond Green is that defense. He’s like a fly that you won’t get out of your room and he’s really annoying but when he’s on your team he’s incredible. Like you watch him and you’re like ‘I love that.’ I really like him, obviously.”

Draymond will forgive us for saying so, but Patrick’s not wrong.
