Pablo Sandoval arrived at AT&T Park shortly before 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Just in time to snap a quick photo with his old buddy Marty Lurie.
I never know who I'm going to see at the park at 8:00..Pablo seems best shape I've ever seen him & very happy here pic.twitter.com/E0bP7DsZQw

Exactly what he did and where he went next are still slightly unknown. However, based on the fact that just a few hours later it was made public that Sandoval would indeed be rejoining the Giants this season, it can be assumed he was meeting with Giants executives Bobby Evans, Brian Sabean and the rest of the organization’s brain trust.
That’s all fine and well, but what should have Giants fans feeling good that their former World Series MVP is going to be his old self again is the fact that the first thing he did after putting pen to ink was head back to his old stomping grounds: The AT&T Park batting cages next to the Giants dugout.

Here is Sandoval’s official statement after he signed with the Giants:
“I have always loved and appreciated the Giants organization, my Giants teammates and the fans of San Francisco. I have so many great memories and I want to thank the organization for giving me another chance to come back here. When I left the Giants in 2014, my comments were emotional, insensitive and misguided and I truly regret and apologize for my actions. I am committed to working hard to contributing to the success of the Giants”
