The stories out of Barry Bonds day here at AT&T Park have been incredible.

Bonds met with the media following the unveiling of his plaque on the wall of AT&T Park. A member of the media asked the Home Run King if he had a favorite record breaking moment, to which Bonds replied, “All the ones that came at home, because you have to be pretty good to do most of them at home.”

That opened up the door to Bonds offering up a story from the morning before he hit home run 755, cementing himself as the all-time home run leader.

“When I hit 755, Bochy threw to me for like 30 minutes,” said Bonds. “And I was frustrated because I kept popping them up, I kept hitting them in the cage, or I’d hit them out this way. And I’m like, ‘oh I’m going to get too in front,’ and I hit like three in a row off of straight center field. Like straight, right, left center, and I said, ‘I’m good now.’ Seven fifty five came that night.”
